Food for Thought – Day 9

Mega-food shopping trip this evening. Bought a ton of healthy food – lots of salad ingredients. One thing I just cannot embrace? Kale. WTF??

  1. One thing that helped me a TON was participating in a CSA/crop share. I get veggies every week, and thus I feel compelled to cook and eat them. I chop kale and saute it with a chopped onion, some broth, and a pinch of nutmeg and some red pepper flakes. when soft, top with balsamic vinegar. I don’t LOVE this, but I like it enough to eat it….
